MTHEA Teen Banquet

A time-honored tradition soars to new heights as hundreds of Middle Tennessee teens will gather on APRIL 10, 2015 to celebrate the achievements of our graduating seniors in timeless style and elegance at the annual MTHEA Teen Banquet. Don't miss out on one of the biggest, brightest, and best nights of the year, full of fun, food, and festivities!

This is a semi-formal event that honors our graduating seniors while bringing together all Middle Tennessee homeschool students (grades 9-12) to fellowship and celebrate this milestone. The doors will open at 6:00 pm at the Family of God at Woodmont Hills Church (located at 3710 Franklin Pike, Nashville). An elegant catered dinner will be followed by a fantastic evening of entertainment provided by the students.

Throughout the evening, our seniors will be recognized. Our master of ceremonies will share a brief biography of each senior as he or she comes up to the stage to receive a gift. At the end of the evening we will recognize the graduating class with all of the seniors returning to the stage for a prayer and photo opportunities.

The cost of this elegant evening is $38 per person. This covers the dinner, venue costs, senior gifts, and decorations. The reservation form is in this month's Jonathan's Arrow or you can download it here.

Tables are arranged for parties of eight. You can request specific seating arrangements for up to eight people per table. Please make sure you include the names and contact information for the people in your group on the reservation form. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Families of seniors are always welcome and encouraged to attend! However, since this is a semi-formal event for our high school students, we ask that young children not attend. If you would like to come and see your student's performance or presentation, we request that you purchase a ticket and attend the banquet.

The deadline for receiving registration forms, payment, and senior information is March 27th. It would be extremely helpful if we receive your information as soon as possible and much before the deadline. It is important that graduating seniors send in their bios and photos promptly by the March 27th deadline. Are you interested in performing at the banquet?

We are looking for students who are interested in being part of the entertainment for the Teen Banquet. There will be opportunities for students to play during dinner, and time for special selections as part of the after-dinner show. If you play an instrument or sing and would like to participate, but don't have an accompanist, we can help you find one! Whether you have an ensemble number, instrumental, or vocal performance, we would love to hear from you. We will have two or three rehearsals to help pull acts together. Bands should plan early to get all members together for an audition. Anyone looking for more information on performing at the banquet should contact Ricky King at rking419@comcast.net. Send a video link or music file no later than March 27th to be considered.
