The Nashville 2012 Home Education Expo will be held May 18-19 at the Nashville Expo Center of the TN State Fairgrounds. Some frequently asked questions:
- What are the booth rental fees?
For a 9x10 booth, including pipe-n-drape, a 6 ft or 8 ft skirted & covered table, and 2 chairs is $190-$250 depending upon time of application. A cottage industry discount of 15% is available. - What are the door entry fees?
For the 4th year, MTHEA allows our membership to enter at no fee IF they pre-register. Otherwise, fees are between $15-$35/family for both days, depending upon membership status and time of registration. - What type is your facility?
We are in three conjoined, climate-controlled buildings. - What about internet access and electricity?
Free Wi-fi is available, and electricity is available for a small fee. - What is your schedule?
We traditionally set up on Thursday, open the exhibit hall and workshops on Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and open again on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. Nashville is traditionally busiest on Fridays. - Can exhibitors conduct workshops?
Yes, and there is no fee to do this. Exhibitor and Encouragement Workshops may be scheduled on a first-come/first-get basis. Encouragement workshops may be conducted by the exhibitors and are much better attended. Our workshop space is four rooms in our center building. Sadly, the acoustics are very poor. Our workshop schedule is usually filled by the Fall of the previous year. - What is your attendance?
